AUGUST

Update All Moonclerk Forms

  1. Login to Moonclerk and click on the “Forms” tab

  2. To edit any form, click the settings gear icon next to the form you want to adjust and then click “edit”

  3. For all forms, ensure that each of the following fields are updated to reflect the upcoming season:

    • Description :: Change the year(s)

    • Confirmation Page Message :: Change the year(s)

    • Custom Email Message :: Change the year(s)

    • Checkbox Message :: Change the year(s)

  4. Save each form as completed

Update Summer CSA, Winter CSA, and SCSA + WCSA Package Pages with Code for New Moonclerk Forms

  1. To begin updating these pages with new Moonclerk forms, go to the “Summer CSA Full” page. Scroll over the page until a gray bar titled “Summer CSA Full” appears. Click the “edit” button on this bar.

  2. Scroll down to the box titled “Embedded Scripts.” Scroll over this box and click “edit.” A box of code language will appear. This is the code that embeds a Moonclerk form. Highlight and delete this code, but don’t hit apply yet.

  3. Open a new browser tab or window and go to your Moonclerk account, click on Forms, and find the SCSA-00-F form. Click on the setting gear icon on the far right and then click “Use.”

  4. Scroll down to the box titled “Embed Payment Form on Your Website.” Copy all of the code in that box.

  5. Return to Squarespace. The empty box where you deleted the code will still be there. Paste the new code into this box, then click “Apply.” Click “Save” in the upper left hand part of the screen, and the new form will now be embedded into the page.

  6. Repeat steps 2-6 for the following pages and their corresponding Moonclerk Forms:

    • Summer CSA Full + $25 Donation :: Moonclerk Form SCSA-25-F

    • Summer CSA Full + $50 Donation :: Moonclerk Form SCSA-50-F

    • Summer CSA Full + $100 Donation :: Moonclerk Form SCSA-100-F

  7. Go to the “Summer CSA: Payment Plan Options” page in the page editing dashboard. Scroll over the page until a bar titled “Page Content” appears. Click the “edit” button on this bar.

  8. Edit the payment dates on the page to reflect the following — “First payment: February 1, [YEAR] ; Second Payment: April 1, [YEAR] ; Third Payment: June 1, [YEAR]”

SEPTEMBER

Update “Winter CSA Information” page to reflect upcoming season’s info

  1. Find and click on "Winter CSA Information” under NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard. Scroll over the page until a bar titled “Page Content” appears. Click the “edit” button on this bar.

  2. Scroll over the button at the top of the page and click “Edit” to edit it. Make the button reflect the upcoming year’s CSA signup. Then make the button point to the “Winter CSA Signup” page by click on the the gear setting icon in the “Clickthrough URL” box, clicking “Page” in the left sidebar, and choosing the “Winter CSA Signup” page.

  3. Update the Pick-Up Schedule to reflect the upcoming winter season’s new pickup dates.

Update “Winter CSA Signup” page to reflect upcoming season’s info

  1. Find and click on "Winter CSA Signup” under NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard. Scroll over the page until a bar titled “Page Content” appears. Click the “edit” button on this bar.

  2. Scroll over the buttons at the bottom of the page and click “Edit” to edit them. Make them reflect the upcoming year’s CSA signup and update the signup form (scroll down for details on uploading updated forms)

Update “SCSA + WCSA Package: Signup Page” to reflect upcoming season’s info

  1. In the headline at the top of the page under the banner, update the year for both the SCSA & WCSA

  2. Edit buttons at the bottom of the page. In the buttons under the online payment options, change the year. In the buttons under “Pay By Check”, update the years and the linked forms with the upcoming season’s updated forms (scroll down for details on uploading updated forms)

Update “Summer CSA: Signup Page” to reflect upcoming season’s info

  1. In the headline at the top of the page under the banner, update the year

Update Membership Forms for Winter CSA, Summer CSA, and SCSA + WCSA Package

  1. Go to edit the following pages: “Winter CSA Signup”, “Summer CSA: Signup Page”, and “SCSA + WCSA Package: Signup Page”.

  2. Scroll over the “Download Form” buttons on each page and click “Edit”

  3. Find “Clickthrough URL” and click the settings gear icon next to it.

  4. Click “Upload File” and find the updated form on your computer.

  5. Be sure that when you hit Apply, the correct form is chosen.

Email Exclusive Invitation to Members to Sign Up for Winter CSA, Summer CSA, & SCSA + WCSA Combo Package

  1. Find “Winter CSA Information”, “Summer CSA: Signup Page”, and “SCSA + WCSA Package: Signup Page” under NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard

  2. Keep each of these pages under the NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard sidebar. If any of them were not moved there when membership filled up, drag them from the TOP NAVIGATION section to the NOT LINKED section

    • [SIDE NOTE] Ensure that all links to the “Summer CSA: Signup Page” on the website have been removed or deactivated. There are buttons on the Landing Page (Home Page), “CSA Information” page, and the “CSA Affordability” page

  3. In the sidebar on the left of the page editing dashboard, when scrolling over “Winter CSA Information”, Summer CSA: Signup Page”, and “SCSA + WCSA Package: Signup Page” options, a settings gear icon will appear. Click the icon.

  4. Under General Settings, you will see a URL Slug. The URL you will want to share exclusively with current members will be http://www.caretakerfarm.org/[place URL Slug here]

    • [KEEP IN MIND] You can change a URL slug for each season to make it unique if you like. If you do so, you’ll have to update all buttons throughout the website that link to that page. However, you may wish to change the slug to reflect the year of the upcoming season, so that the link is unique each September when you are reenrolling existing members

[NOT APPLICABLE IF USING MOONCLERK] Update Winter CSA purchasing option

  1. Find “Summer & Winter CSA Signup Options” under NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard sidebar

  2. Unhide the “Winter CSA Share” purchase option by double-clicking on the option, then scrolling down to where it says “Hidden” and clicking, and changing the purchasing option to “Visible". In the future, this can also be scheduled to appear and disappear on designated dates of your choosing

  3. Edit any of the wording necessary in the item description

 

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER

Make “Winter CSA Information” page and “Winter CSA Signup” page appear in navigation when winter memberships are no longer exclusive only to existing members [IF MEMBERSHIPS STILL AVAILABLE]

  1. In the editing dashboard sidebar, drag “Winter CSA Information” and “Winter CSA Signup” from the NOT LINKED section and place it under the CSA navigation section

Add Winter CSA signup button to main landing page [IF MEMBERSHIPS STILL AVAILABLE]

  1. In the editing dashboard sidebar, go to the “Landing Page”, scroll over the page and click “Edit” in the Page Content toolbar

  2. In the upper right hand corner, click on the “+” icon and then choose “Button.”

  3. In the text section, write “Sign Up for a [YEAR/YEAR] Winter CSA Share”

  4. In the “Clickthrough URL” section, click the settings gear icon. Click “Page” in the left sidebar, then choose the “Winter CSA Information” page.

  5. In the “Size” section, choose Large. Then click apply.

  6. Drag the button to the top of the page, under the description of the farm’s mission.

  7. Click “Save” in the upper left hand corner of the page.

When Winter CSA Shares are Sold Out, update language and buttons on “Winter CSA Information” and “Winter CSA Signup” page

  1. Find and click on "Winter CSA Information” under NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard. Scroll over the page until a bar titled “Page Content” appears. Click the “edit” button on this bar.

  2. Scroll over the button at the top of the page and click “Edit” to edit it. Make the button say something along the lines of “Winter [YEAR] CSA Memberships are now sold out. Check back again in October [NEXT YEAR] for next season’s Winter CSA signup.” Then disable the button by putting a “#” symbol in the Clickthrough URL box. The # will make it so they simply stay on the same page.

  3. Click “Save"" in the upper left hand corner to be sure the changes have been made successfully.

  4. Find and click on "Winter CSA Signup” under NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard. Scroll over the page until a bar titled “Page Content” appears. Click the “edit” button on this bar.

  5. Scroll over the two buttons at the bottom of the page and click “Edit” to edit each of them. Make the buttons say “Winter [YEAR] CSA Memberships are now sold out.” Then disable the buttons by putting a “#” symbol in each Clickthrough URL box. The # will make it so they simply stay on the same page.

  6. Click “Save"" in the upper left hand corner to be sure the changes have been made successfully.

Hide “Winter CSA Information” page and “CSA Winter Signup” page from Navigation when Sold Out of Memberships

  1. In the editing dashboard sidebar, drag “Winter CSA Information” and “CSA Winter Signup” from the CSA navigation section and place it under NOT LINKED section

[NOT APPLICABLE IF USING MOONCLERK] Hide “Winter CSA Share” option when sold out of memberships

  1. Find “Summer & Winter CSA Signup Options” under NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard sidebar

  2. Hide the “Winter CSA Share” purchase option by double-clicking on the option, then scrolling down to where it says “Visible” and clicking, and changing the purchasing option to “Hidden". In the future, this can also be scheduled to appear and disappear on designated dates of your choosing

[NOT APPLICABLE IF USING MOONCLERK] Update new Membership Form on each payment option page

  1. Go to edit the "Summer & Winter CSA Options" page

  2. Double-click on the icon for "One Free-Choice Bag for One Adult"

  3. At the top of the pop-up box, click on "Additional Info"

  4. Scroll down to the "Application Form & Check Payment" button, roll over the button, and click "Edit"

  5. Under "Clickthrough URL", last season's payment form should be there. Click the trash can to delete this form

  6. Click on "Click to add URL", then click "Files", then "Existing File", and select the new membership form, then click "Apply"

  7. Click "Save" in the popup screen to save the change

  8. Repeat these steps for all of the other Summer CSA purchasing options

 

NOVEMBER

When Summer CSA shares open up to the public, update language and buttons on Landing Page

  1. Change language in main text to say, “We currently have openings for our (YEAR) Summer CSA”

  2. Change language on the button to say, “Sign up for a (YEAR) Summer CSA Share”

  3. To link the button to the share purchasing options, click on “Click to add URL”, then click on “Content”, and choose “Summer CSA: Signup Page”. Then click “Apply”

  4. Click “Save” in the top left corner of the screen to save all changes to the page

 

Activate “Summer CSA: Signup Page” for new members to enroll

  1. Find "Summer CSA: Signup Page” under NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard sidebar

  2. Drag “Summer CSA: Signup Page” from the NOT LINKED section to the TOP NAVIGATION section in the page editing dashboard sidebar

 

Update language and buttons on other pages

  1. On the “CSA Information” page, update the button to say, “Sign up for a (YEAR) Summer CSA Share”, and link the button to the share purchasing options by clicking on “Click to add URL”, then click on “Content”, and choose “Summer CSA: Signup Page”. Then click “Apply”

  2. On the “CSA Affordability” page, update the button at the bottom of the page to say “Application form and check payment”, and remove the link to the signup form by clicking on “Click to add URL”, clicking ”Files”, clicking “Existing File”, and choosing the most recent membership form. Then click “Apply”

FEBRUARY

Update Summer CSA Pages with Code for New Moonclerk Recurring Payment Forms

  1. On February 2, all Moonclerk forms for the upcoming Summer CSA recurring payment options will no longer be active.

  2. To begin editing these forms, go to the “Summer CSA Plan” page. Scroll over the page until a gray bar titled “Summer CSA Plan” appears. Click the “edit” button on this bar.

  3. Scroll down to the box titled “Embedded Scripts.” Scroll over this box and click “edit.” A box of code language will appear. This is the code that embeds a Moonclerk form. Highlight and delete this code, but don’t hit apply yet.

  2. Change language on the button to say, “Check back here in November for Summer (YEAR) CSA Share availability”

  3. To remove the button’s link, click on the trash can next to the “Clickthrough URL”, then click “Apply”

 

Remove “Summer CSA: Signup Page” from the navigation bar

  1. Find "Summer CSA: Signup Page” under TOP NAVIGATION section in the page editing dashboard sidebar

  2. Drag "Summer CSA: Signup Page” from the TOP NAVIGATION section to the NOT LINKED section in the page editing dashboard sidebar

 

Update language and buttons on other pages

  1. On the “CSA Information” page, update the button to say, “Check back here in November for Summer (YEAR) CSA Share availability”, and remove the link by clicking on the trash can under “Clickthrough URL”. Then click “Apply”

  2. On the “CSA Affordability” page, update the button at the bottom of the page to say “Check back here in November to download the Summer (Year) application form”, and remove the link by clicking on the trash can under “Clickthrough URL”. Then click “Apply”
